Rosanna has completed her M. A. in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, with a specialization in Health and Mental Health. She has also completed her training in Arts-Based Therapy with World Centre for Creative Learning (WCCLF), Pune and in Mental Health concepts and Narrative Therapy with Ummeed Child Development Center, Mumbai.

Her Experience so far
As part of Child Safety at Work, her role involves creating content and generating awareness through trainings and other engagement tools on the topic of child safety, rights of the child, understanding child sexual abuse and factors influencing vulnerabilities of the child, working with both children and adults responsible for children’s wellbeing.
As part of Mental Health at Work, her role involves creating content and generating awareness through trainings and other engagement tools on mental health, wellbeing and resilience, focusing on the intrinsic and extrinsic factors impacting wellbeing at the workplace, working with organizations and managers to work towards building healthy workspaces.
Her focus areas are gender, marginalization and mental health. The focus of her work has been building resilience and facilitating processes of healing and empowerment through art and therapeutic practice. She has worked extensively in the field of mental health, trauma and recovery working with women and children addressing mental health and social development issues, using art as a tool for healing and wellbeing, sensitization and awareness building, documentation, and research – particularly with youth at risk in open communities, children in conflict with the law and women in prison.
She has served as a guest lecturer for various institutions of higher learning and has been a visiting faculty at the Centre for Life Long Learning (TISS). During the Pandemic in 2020, she has collaborated with groups internationally to develop programs aimed at providing mental health support and self-awareness, particularly towards people working from home dealing with the sudden shifts in social and work life. She has been invited as a speaker and trainer at various platforms with regard to her work with people who have been institutionalized for causing harm, stigma, reintegration and suicide prevention.
She is currently a Council Member at Women’sIndian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) – Maharashtra Anti-Sexual Harassment Council Her work has been published in the Journal of Mental Health Education (JMHEdu) and Social Dialogue – Free Magazine of The International Association of Schools of Social Work.
